29th Alzheimer Europe Conference to be held in The Hague October 2019

Alzheimer Europe announces the 29th Alzheimer Europe Conference “Making valuable connections” will come to The Hague on 22-25 October 2019. The event will take place at The Hague’s recently renovated and state-of-the-art venue, the World Forum. More than 700 participants are expected to attend the conference which will be held in The Hague for the first time.

Importance of networking

“The importance of networking and of collaboration in all areas related to Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia will be a real focus of our conference, and we are confident that The Hague, as a truly international congress city, offering a fantastic array and standard of meeting venues, excellent transport links and proximity to universities and policymakers alike, is the perfect place for our conference delegates to make these important connections” said Jean Georges, Executive Director of Alzheimer Europe. “The Hague is making great forward strides in ensuring it is accessible and welcoming for everyone, and we are delighted that our 2019 Annual Conference will be held in such a progressive and socially-conscious city. We are also very grateful to the city of The Hague for offering us such excellent support with the organisation of our congress” said Mr Georges.

Alzheimer Europe Conference 2019

The annual Alzheimer Europe Conference will bring together people who are affected by dementia​, by living with the disease, caring for someone with the disease or working in the field of dementia— all have the opportunity to share and exchange their experience and knowledge of the disease. Speakers from different European Member States and further afield, share the different approaches and developments from their countries.
