Educational session IMEX: Event security management

Marije Bouwman, Safety & Security manager at World Forum The Hague, will present the educational session "Practical approach for event security management in a changing world" at IMEX Frankfurt on Wednesday 20 April. In this educational session Marije will emphasize the impact of the individual to prevent potential damage to your event and/or venue. Focus is on what the event staff can do to prevent potential damage but also how to prepare for and response to an incident. Topics will include at least but not only, the creation of strategic and operational plans, risk assessments, necessary equipment, staff training and crisis management. With the experience of the NSS2014, World Forum made Safety & Security one of her main strategic USP’s. Developments in the world has put this subject on the agenda as never before. The approach and method of how World Forum deals with (high security) events is unique in the market. Clients and subcontractors are impressed by World Forum’s approach. In the inspiration Hub session Marije will share handy tools, tips and tricks, to implement in your own (security) organization and so increase the professionality on this subject. The session will be closed with a brief security awareness training that stresses the impact and power of an individual and gives facts that you can use to train yourself and your own staff in the future.
