Emmy Stoel new General Manager Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam

As of June 10th, Emmy Stoel will start as General Manager of Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam. She takes over the position of Remco Groenhuijzen, who has continued his career at Accor as Regional Vice President Mövenpick the Netherlands. Emmy Stoel started her career in 1989 at Hotel de Arendshoeve and, in the following years, held various management positions at Hilton hotels and Hotel Okura Amsterdam, where she worked as General Manager the last 6 years. Stoel: “I am very happy with this next step in my career and I look forward to work for such an iconic hotel as Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam, where the hotel- and restaurant profession is executed at top level. I will do everything in my power to help maintain the strong position of The Grand as one of the best five-star hotels in Amsterdam and to further expand this".
