Research and goalsetting at the heart of IACC’s Europe Knowledge Festival

IACC, the association that represents over 300 conference venues worldwide, has today revealed details of the education programme at its annual Europe Knowledge Festival conference, taking place from 5-7 October 2018 at Dolce CampoReal, Lisbon.

This year’s programme will be headlined by keynote David Hyner, an award-winning researcher, trainer, broadcaster, author and director of Stretch Development – a research training business. Drawing on his expertise and extensive research, David’s session will show attendees how they can successfully set goals using his proven model to achieve business success and increase performance. David is renowned for his interesting, humorous and inspiring presentations and interviews with top achievers from the world of sports, music, arts, business and enterprise, as well as for hosting a BBC radio show on positive thinking.

Interactive debates

As part of the event’s education programme, attendees will have the opportunity to attend interactive debates and workshops, where they can with interact with experts and educators “in the know” on the latest industry developments, including Virtual Reality, crisis management and the future approaches to venue / third Party relations. Attendees can also meet with experts during the engaging ‘Campfire’ education sessions and learn about the latest industry issues and hot topics, including the importance of data and insights; how to offer a unique customer experience and teaching delegates how to position themselves as experts in the industry.

Culinary competition

The 2018 IACC Europe Knowledge Festival is designed to educate and inspire through highly engaging workshops, ranging from open forum debates, to campfire sessions, all of which have been created to appeal to the diverse learning styles of delegates. In addition, the conference provides a backdrop for networking opportunities and it will stage the final of the IACC Europe Copper Skillet culinary competition, followed by the Awards ceremony and gala dinner.
