Rotterdam host city of Site Global Conference 2014

Rotterdam has won the bid for the international Site Global Conference in 2014. Incentive travel organisers from around the world will come to Rotterdam for this multi-day conference. This is the first time this leading event will be held in the Netherlands. The conference will take place at the Inntel Hotels Rotterdam Centre and the adjacent Mainport Hotel. Site is a worldwide network comprising 2,000 professionals from 90 countries who specialise in organising incentive travel. Relevant and current developments within the industry are discussed at the annual Site Global Conference. The conference in Rotterdam will take place from 14-17 November 2014 and is expected to attract more than 400 visitors. They will also become acquainted with Rotterdam and other Dutch cities during the Site Global Conference. Rotterdam Marketing was responsible for preparing and compiling the bid book. ‘The fact that the Site Global Conference is coming to Rotterdam is unique’, says Stephen van Es, Account Manager for Congresses & Business Events (corporate) at Rotterdam Marketing and also Chairman of the Dutch chapter of Site. ‘Previous editions of the conference were held in cities such as Beijing, Las Vegas and Toronto. So it is a real compliment that Rotterdam has now been chosen for the 2014 conference. The event provides the city and the rest of the Netherlands with a perfect opportunity to demonstrate their distinctiveness to more than four hundred incentive travel organisers who are all potential clients.’
