SITE appoints Annette Gregg as new CEO

Annette Gregg is appointed as the new CEO of the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE), also serving SITE Foundation. She takes over from interim Executive Director Rebecca Wright. Gregg is well known in the sector as Chief Revenue Officer of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and has a career-long legacy in the business events industry working across the full MICE spectrum, from corporate end user to destination marketing organizations. Commenting on the appointment SITE President Kevin Edmunds said: “Firstly, we’d like to pay tribute to Rebecca Wright for stepping up to serve as Interim Executive Director while also delivering on her role as Head of Chapter Engagement for the past 24 months. During that time, SITE’s International Board of Directors (IBOD), and SITE Foundation’s International Board of Trustees (IBOT) have been able to thoughtfully and diligently approach the recruitment and appointment of our next CEO in the context of a rapidly evolving marketplace and a new, evolving concept of the nature, purpose and direction of an association.” He concludes: “We’re thrilled to announce Annette Gregg as our new CEO knowing that the depth of her experience, the strength of her relationships, and the clarity of her vision will help SITE navigate the road ahead and realise its vision to build and bridge cultures through the transformative power of incentive travel & motivational experiences.”

'Helping to move SITE to new heights'

Gregg reacts on her appointment as follows: “I’m grateful for a career that has allowed me to contribute to a variety of aspects of the business events industry, covering both the public and private sectors, corporates and associations, agencies and end users. My appointment as Chief Executive Officer at SITE will allow me to integrate my career experience to help move this legacy association to new heights. I have always been convinced of the transformative power of travel experiences for individuals, enterprises, communities and society at large.” Gregg look forward to working closely with SITE’s IBOD and IBOT, its global committees and chapters, and the 2,000+ global members “to make the business case for incentive travel and spread the story of travel as transformation. It’s a true honor to take on the role of CEO as SITE embarks on its 50th anniversary.” Gregg’s tenure as SITE and SITE Foundation’s CEO will commence on November 14. Founded in 1973, SITE is a professional association dedicated to the use of travel incentives as a key element in a corporation’s reward and recognition program. SITE has over 2,000 members located in 90 countries, working in corporations, agencies, airlines, cruise companies, and across the entire destination supply chain.
