Station Europe, a new meeting point for visitors to the European Parliament

The old Brussels-Luxembourg station is being transformed into Station Europe, a meeting point for visitors to the European Parliament. When finished, you can see the European Parliament come alive with an augmented reality model of the campus or delve into the history of the European Parliament at touchscreen tables. You can even peer into the past with peephole dioramas and see the European Parliament from different angles, at different times in its life. Housed in the original building of the Brussels-Luxembourg train station, Station Europe bridges the area’s past as the Leopold Quarter and its modern role as the home of European democracy, and has something to offer for all ages. It will be possible to plan and book the stages of a visit in advance. Certain activities will require a prior reservation. Station Europe will also host a permanent visit.brussels information desk.

New welcome point

The European Parliament has a new welcome point for groups arriving by bus on Rue d’Ardenne. The Atrium is the ideal place to freshen up and take a moment to relax before visiting the Hemicycle, the Parlamentarium or the House of European History after it opens in spring 2017. You’ll be able to find out about some of the inspiring figures of the European Union and the famous personalities who have set foot in the European Parliament.  Staff will also be available to answer your questions and make sure you’re ready to dive into all things European Parliament.
