Ten-year anniversary Utrecht Convention Bureau (UCB)

Exactly 10 years ago, the Utrecht Convention Bureau (UCB) was founded as an initiative of the municipality of Utrecht, in collaboration with, among others, the province of Utrecht. The aim of the UCB is to promote the Utrecht Region as an (inter)national conference destination. Operating as part of Utrecht Marketing, the UCB has contributed to an economic impact of more than 112 million euros in the Utrecht Region over the past 10 years. Conferences play a crucial role in international exchange of knowledge and add extra dynamism to a lively and smart city. By acquiring and supporting international scientific conferences, the UCB, together with the Utrecht Science Park and its renowned knowledge institutions, contributes to the image of a healthy and green city and region.
