Utrecht Science Park

Utrecht has a string of high education institutions, including the University of Utrecht, University Medical Centre, Utrecht University and Utrecht School of the Arts. National and international research institutes are also well represented, with organisations such as RIVM [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent="yes" overflow="visible"][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type="1_1" background_position="left top" background_color="" border_size="" border_color="" border_style="solid" spacing="yes" background_image="" background_repeat="no-repeat" padding="" margin_top="0px" margin_bottom="0px" class="" id="" animation_type="" animation_speed="0.3" animation_direction="left" hide_on_mobile="no" center_content="no" min_height="none"][National Institute of Public Health and Environmental Protection], TNO [Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research] and KNMI [Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute]. Utrecht thus has the highest density of information services in the Netherlands and the highest percentage of highly educated people. Utrecht is proud of its Utrecht Science Park (USP). USP argues that progress begins where scientists and entrepreneurs join forces. With Utrecht University as the best university in the Netherlands, the University Medical Centre Utrecht is one of the largest public institutions in the Netherlands and, with dozens of innovative companies and research institutions, the Utrecht Science Park is the heart of the knowledge economy. National and international conferences provide a platform for the specialist knowledge that is available in Utrecht and for which there is a need throughout the world. The diversity of knowledge and educational institutions and NGOs result in an equally diverse range of knowledge events. The program includes, for example: EVDI Congress 2014 (European Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging), EBJIS 2014 (European Bone and Joint Infection Society), 2014 AESOP (Congress / Association of European Schools of Planning), EBHA 2014 (European Business History Association), HEUG EMEA Conference 2014 Pediatric Work Physiology (PWP) 2015.  [/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
